In a small village in Leominster is Monkland. Home to Kirsty’s parents beautiful house, including apple orchard which is used for home made cider. There was a marquee in the garden and the house was a hive of activity when I arrived in the morning, packed with family, hair & makeup artists & caterers! The decorations in the marquee were mostly home made, the scrunched balls on the ceiling being coffee filter papers, great work!

The wedding took place at the church in the village, a short trip for the vintage Champ wedding car! After the ceremony it was a trip to the common for some shots with & without the car followed by a bumpy trip back to the house off road (me included!). On arrival we are met by Mike’s Caterham outside which proved to be quite popular with the guests and quite a talking point over the course of the afternoon!

What an honour to be asked to photograph a family wedding. My cousin Helen is such an amazing person I was made up when she asked me to be her wedding photographer. And what an amazing day it was!

Moxhull Hall hotel was the beautiful venue and set the standard for everything, awesome flowers, awesome dress, awesome weather! You get the picture!

I’ve wanted to do a beach wedding for some time now, but I can honestly say that I never thought it would be,

A: In October

or B: in the Midlands!

Seems it happened though and what a pleasant surprise! Amazing weather yet again for October and the Heart of England conference centre really offers something very unusual for the midlands with it’s beach! Oh, and Groom arriving by Helicopter…!!

I started the day with Hayley at the Dovecliff Hall Hotel, which looked amazing with it’s Stately home appearance and the fields which had not yet been harvested, I knew we’d have to venture down later for pictures!

Leaving the girls to make their way to the church in Fenny Drayton, I caught up with Chris & his Groomsmen, the little ones definitely setting the standard for looking good! After the ceremony had taken place and confetti was thrown we all headed back to Dovecliff where I got chance to steal Hayley & Chris away long enough to explore the grounds and get some beautiful photographs in those fields.

Special mention has to go to the Table decorations, hand made by Chris and they were superb! Hayley & Chris are both teachers and each table had a theme of a different subject, and a card detailing it and the table bouquets were decorated accordingly! Very nice touch.

Congratulations Hayley & Chris, I’m so glad I captured your wedding for you, I wish you all the best for the future, and keeping in mind you’re both teachers, I hope this work deserves an ‘A’ !!

Congratulations to Sian & Andy. I loved being a part of your day and getting to know you both. Sian reminded everyone why they were there with love themed hand made decorations. The lanterns looked amazing in the sky when they were released at dusk, and your first dance was beautiful to watch!

Congratulations again and I wish you both the best, enjoy the pictures!

Emma and Sean were Married at St Mary’s Guild Hall in Coventry, which gave us the stunning Cathedral grounds to use for photographs before they were both whisked away in a high spec Jaguar to Ansty Golf course for the evening reception. The light was just perfect so out we went to do some more portraits in the last of the sun. Which led us to their lovely choreographed first dance before Sean revealed a surprise of their dog arriving at the party!

Congratulations to you both, what a fantastic day and I’m proud to have been a part of it.

After starting with Nav at her parents home while she got ready I moved on to meet the groom at the City Rooms in Leicester. With it’s stunning ballroom it looked simply amazing with the long drapes across the ceiling. The ceremony was conducted by a close friend of Nav’s and afterwards we managed to dodge the rain just long enough to grab a confetti shot! Being back inside was not a problem though as it gave us chance to take some bridal portraits up in that stunning ball room!

You may notice that Andy is a Manchester City fan, so his reaction to the best man giving him a signed letter thanking him for his support of the club would go down well… except  it was from Manchester united! (Bitter rivals for those that don’t know!) After the wedding breakfast was the Bangra dancing, full of energy and colour it looked superb! Andy managed to join in too, before an emotional leaving ceremony with Nav.

Congratulations Beckie & Christian! Ceremony at the beautiful Knowle church & reception at the stunning Stoneleigh Abbey I can’t wait to show more from this wedding!

Olly & Clark were married on Olly’s Birthday! What a wonderful day to get married! Clark surprised her with a video message and a heartfelt card along with a brand new iPhone on the morning while she was getting ready. Onwards then to Mottram Hall after the ceremony with it’s huge grounds, which we got to explore a little once the sun came out later in the day.

Congratulations to you both, it’s been a pleasure getting to know you, and you are a fantastic couple!
