Meet Summer. Photographed with her Dad Rob on a lovely Autumn day in a place I love to use for location portraits, Coombe Abbey in Warwickshire.

The grounds are huge, and offer not only lots of scope for fun pictures, a flock of geese, swans & ducks to feed and a variety of colour, but also they’re large enough to wear any child out! Win win!

To quote the words of his Dad, JJ was being a ‘tinker’ today!

He was a little excited at all the bright lights and noises going on when this shoot started but when Fireman sam went on just out of shot, he stayed put long enough to capture a few exchanges between him and his dad.

My brother requested some black and white shots in the last of the snow we had at the start of this year. It was freezing but Joshua was good as gold, perhaps because his dad was bribing him with his favourite shortbread!

Coombe Abbey is a great place to use as a photography location, there are so many wonderful places in the huge grounds to find.

A set that were to be made into large prints to be hung by the client.

The plan was to have a nice walk around Coombe abbey country park, hang back and shoot candidly for the most part. I knew i was in for a fun time when one of the kids immediatly said “Come on, lets lose Matt!”

My nephew. You could say he’s a personal project of mine, I seem to be documenting his life quite often, but that doesn’t do any justice to just how cute he is!
