Rolleicord V 1955

I love photography and just lately I’ve been shooting lots of film (update coming after they’re developed!)

for some time now I’ve wanted a medium format camera. I have a huge love for the Hasselblad 500 series but right now they’re a little out of my price range. so I turned my attention to rolleicord/rolleiflex. The rolleiflex are a little more expensive and some come with Zeiss lenses, so they are now added to my list for the future and I kept my eyes on the Rolleicord’s till this one came up.

It’s a Rolleicord V from approx 1955 I believe, in lovely, although not perfect condition. It could do with a clean, as there is a small amount of dust inside the lenses, and the waist level finder is very stiff to operate. I’d also like a brighter screen which i’m currently looking into a Maxwell screen, which are known to be the best.

So far I’ve run a couple of films through and I can’t wait to get them back! I’m sure you’ll see a few of them appear on here!

Shari DeAngelo - I’ve been in the market for one of these myself, so I’m really anxious to see what you get from yours. I started to do my research on years, lens, options, etc. Now I just need to keep searching for deals. It’s such a beautiful piece of art in itself, isn’t it? Best of luck with yours Matt!
